Marvel icon Stan Lee was taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital on Wednesday night for irregular heartbeat and breathing problems, according to TMZ

He was admitted to the hospital and will be staying for a few days, according to Hollywood Reporter.  “Stan is doing well and feeling good,” his reps told THR.  “He is staying there for a few days for some check-ups as a safety precaution.”

Lee was last seen in public on Monday at the Black Panther premiere.

Update:  Lee was released from the hospital Thursday night, he told local TV station ABC 7 in a Skype interview, cutting short the multi-day stay his reps had said was planned earlier in the day.  "I'm feeling great," he told the station. "Now I'm home and lookiing for new trouble to get into.  You know, the usual."
