Renegade Game Studios is paring down its roster of Canadian distribution; Renegade products will now be available to the trade in Canada only through Universal Distribution and Alliance North, the company announced Sunday.  The changes are effective immediately.  The new roster reduces the number of distributors authorized to sell Renegade products in Canada; Lion Rampant Imports also distributed Renegade titles, according to listings on its website.

Renegade’s U.S. distributor roster remains the Big Five:  Alliance Game Distributors, ACD Distribution, GTS Distribution, Southern Hobby Supply, and PHD Games.

Renegade promised improved programs as a result of the change.  "We will be able to offer more targeted promotional programs for our retailer partners and fans in this important region," Renegade Director of Sales and Marketing Sara Erickson said of the move.
