Batman and Robin will swing their way into Riverdale in Archie Meets Batman '66. The six-issue miniseries is written by Jeff Parker and Michael Moreci, penciled by Dan Parent, inked by J. Bone, colored by Kelly Fitzpatrick, and lettered by Jack Morelli. The first issue will sport a main cover by Mike Allred, with variants Derek Charm, Francesco Francavilla, Sandy Jarrell, Parent, and Ty Templeton. The first issue lands in stores on July 18.
The series find the 1960s TV versions of Batman and Robin on a madcap mission to Riverdale. Archie and the gang are soon wrapped up in the hijinks with the Caped Crusader, Boy Wonder, Barbara Gordon, and Gotham’s most notorious villains.
This isn’t the first time that Archie has teamed with DC on a crossover between their comic book universes. Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy recently took a trip to Riverdale in Harley & Ivy Meet Betty & Veronica (see "Gotham Meets Riverdale").
