Marvel Comics has planned a Giant-Man-sized stack of releases in advance of the theatrical bow for Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Mark Waid and Javier Garron’s Ant-Man & The Wasp is a five-issue miniseries that finds Ant-Man stuck in the vast spaces between atoms.  The first issue, which has variant covers from Nick Bradshaw and Bryan Hitch, as well as blank and movie variant covers, will be in stores on June 2.  The second issue drops June 20.

Ant-Man & The Wasp: Living Legends #1 will also be in stores on June 6.  The story from writer Ralph Macchio and artist Andrea Di Vito finda Scott Lang trying to fill the sizable shows of Hank Pym.  The issue features a variant from Todd Nauck.

Marvel Super Hero Adventures: Webs and Arrows and Ants, Oh My! #1 from writer Jim McCann and artist Dario Brizuela teams Ant-Man up with Spider-Man and Kate Bishop (aka Hawkeye) in an all-ages adventure.  The issue sports a cover by Jacob Chabot and will be in stores on June 27.

Ant-Man / Giant-Man: Growing Pains trade paperback collects classic Hank Pym tales from Stan Lee, Steve Englehart, George Perez, Christos, Gage, Jack Kirby, Don Heck, Geroge Tuska, Jeff Moore, and Tom Raney into one 184-page volume.  The collection, which sports a cover by Ed McGuinness, will be in stores June 27 for an MSRP of $19.99.

Marvel also plans a number of collections in anticipation off the upcoming cinematic outing for Ant-Man and the Wasp:

  • Ant-Man and the Wasp Adventures Digest (June, $9.99 MSRP)
  • Astonishing Ant-Man: The Complete Collection trade paperback (June, $34.99 MSRP)
  • Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp Prelude trade paperback (June, $14.99 MSRP)
  • Ant-Man: Astonishing Origins trade paperback (June, $17.99 MSRP)
  • Marvel’s Ant-Man and Wasp: The Art of the Movie hardcover (July, $50 MSRP)

These titles are in addition to the line of $1 True Believers centered on the origins of Ant-Man and the Wasp that will be on sale weekly starting June 6 (see "Ant-Man / Giant-Man and the Wasp Star in New Round of 'True Believers'").

Ant-Man and the Wasp, which stars Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly, opens on July 6 (see "'Ant-Man And The Wasp' Official Trailer And Poster").
