Steven Spielberg will direct, and produce through his Amblin Entertainment, a film featuring DC's Blackhawk, according to Variety.  The Blackhawk Squadron, led by Blackhawk, was created as an international group of pilots in World War II.  More recent comic manifestations have primarily centered around Lady Blackhawk.

David Koepp, screenwriter on Jurassic Park and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, has been assigned to write a script.

Spielberg's last movie was Ready Player One, which like Blackhawk was at Warner Bros.  It’s going to be a while before he gets to Blackhawk; Spielberg is slated to make the fifth Indiana Jones movie and West Side Story back-to-back before Blackhawk.
