Star Wars: Beckett #1 is written by Gerry Duggan, with art by Will Sliney, Edgar Salazar and Marc Laming. The main cover is provided by John Tyler Christopher, with a variant cover by Terry Dodson and a movie variant cover also available. The 40-page comic has an MSRP of $4.99. Release is August 15.
In the movie, Tobias Beckett, played by Woody Harrelson, is a grifter who takes young Han under his wing. In this comic, Beckett’s career as an outlaw is expanded, including a showdown with the brutal galactic pirate Enfys Nest.
