San Diego Comic-Con News: Marvel unveiled a massive collection commemorating the first ten years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe at Comic-Con. Marvel Studios: The First 10 Years is a two-volume, slip-cased hardcover set written by Tara Bennett and Paul Terry (The Official Art of Big Trouble in Little China). The 512-page collection has an MSRP of $150 and will be in stores in conjunction with the release of Avengers 4 on May 3, 2019 (see “Best in Shows--Q2 2019”).
Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years presents a behind-the-scenes look at the evolution of the MCU and includes personal stories from the first 22 films, including Captain Marvel and Avengers 4. It features more than 100 interviews with producers, studio heads, and stars such as Chadwick Boseman, Benedict Cumberbatch, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Brie Larson, Evangeline Lilly, Anthony Mackie, Chris Pratt, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Mark Ruffalo, Zoe Saldana, and more. The volume includes a forward by Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige and an afterward by Iron Man star Robert Downey, Jr.
In October, a massive collection of the comics that inspired the films in the MCU will be on shelves (see "Marvel Plans Omnibus to Celebrate 10 Years of the MCU").
