The hit Dungeons & Dragons-based deck building game Dragonfire continues to expand, with Catalyst Game Labs releasing five new SKUs in the next few months.  The first two, Moonshae Storms Campaign Box and Heroes of the Wild Character Pack are releasing in late September or early October, followed by three Adventure Packs (A Corruption in Calimshan, Ravaging the Sword Coast, and Sword Mountains Crypt), releasing about every other month thereafter, Catalyst Publisher Loren Coleman told ICv2.

Moonshae Storms will be the first Campaign Box for the game, introducing a new "mountain" environment for players to contend with, along with new Market cards, Magic Items, and encounters.  A new character class, the Barbarian, and two alternate races, Ffolk and Northlanders, are also included.  MSRP is $29.99.

Heroes of the Wild, a Character Pack, comes with 32 new character screens and new cards for use in the game, including the new Sorcerer class and the Barbarian and featuring four new races:  Lizardfolk, Tabaxi, Kenku, and Aasimar.  The screens offer new class and race combinations and new subclasses.  MSRP is $24.99.

Catalyst’s series of smaller Adventure Packs continues with the fourth, fifth, and sixth packs, all at $19.99:

Set in the arid lands and cities of that exotic realm, A Corruption in Calimshan introduces the new Desert environment and includes new Magic Items, Market cards, and rules for Crafting Poisons.

Ravaging the Sword Coast marks the return of the villainous hobgoblin Torog-Kaitan, leading a new army through two Encounter Decks.  New Magic Items and Market cards round out the set.

An Orc warlord’s tomb is the focus of Sword Mountains Crypt, which will feature the game’s first Difficulty 4 encounter, in which players must confront a powerful demilich in its lair.  More Magic Items and Market cards will also appear in this set.

Once this series of expansions have released, Catalyst will be ready to release the game’s second Campaign Box set in the iconic city of Waterdeep, in March.

This is a second round of expansions after first trio of Adventure Packs and other expansions that followed the initial release last year (see "‘Dungeons & Dragons’ Deck Building Game ‘Dragonfire’").  Dragonfire has been a solid seller for Catalyst, ranking number four on ICv2’s top-seller list last Fall (see "Top 10 Hobby Channel Card and Dice Games--Fall 2017").
