Marvel Comics will chronicle roguish pilot Han Solo’s time in the Imperial Navy in Star Wars: Han Solo – Imperial Cadet, a miniseries launching November 7.

In Solo: A Star Wars Story, the movie glosses over the three years between Han joining the Imperial Navy after being separated from Qi’ra on Corellia, and him getting kicked out for insubordination.  Now Disney and Marvel will fill in the gaps with a five-issue miniseries written by Robbie Thompson and drawn by Leonard Kirk.  The first issue main cover will be provided by David Nakayama, with variants provided by Elsa Charretier, Luke Ross, and a movie photo variant.

Young Han escaped the gang on Corellia by enlisting in Imperial Navy as a flight cadet.  But he was separated from his love, Qi’ra.  Han may want to be a pilot, but he is not adjusting well to military order and discipline.  Will he ever made it back to Qi’ra?

Solo: A Star Wars Story will be released on digital platforms on September 14, and home media including Blu-Ray and DVD on September 25.  One of the advertised extended and deleted scenes on the Blu-Ray is titled "Han Solo: Imperial Cadet."
