Hasbro, Inc. has partnered with Epic Games to produce a range of play products based on the Fortnite video game franchise.  The first product will be Monopoly: Fortnite Edition launching October 1.

Monopoly: Fortnite Edition has players choose a character (from 27 available outfits), then start claiming locations, battling opponents, and avoiding the Storm. Loot chest items and the action battle die help players pick up health packs, build walls, and damage opponents. Every time a player passes GO!, they must avoid the Storm, or lose HP.

The box includes 27 cardboard outfits, skins with pawn stands, 15 Storm cards, 16 location cards, 16 loot chest cards, 8 wall cards, a numbered die, an action die with labels, 110 health point chips, and a game guide. The Game is for 2 – 7 players ages 13 and up. MSRP is $19.99.

Fortnite is an online video game that is distributed to different platforms through two separate games, which include the same general mechanics and game engine. Fortnite: Save the World is a cooperative shooter-survival game where players fight off creatures and defend fortifications they build. Fortnite Battle Royale is a free-to-play battle royale game where 100 players fight to elimination, and are confined to increasingly smaller game areas as the player count drops, until there is only one person standing.

Hasbro also plans to release a line of officially licensed NERF Fortnite Blasters in Spring 2019, with addition role play, licensed games, and accessories releasing in 2019.
