Walmart is adding dedicated collectibles sections in the entertainment departments of over 3,500 stores, beginning October 15, the company announced. As part of the new launch, Walmart will be the exclusive brick-and-mortar retailer of Loot Crate boxes. Six Loot Crate boxes, featuring Best of the 80s, Space Out, Merc with a Mouth, Not of This World, Gaming Treasures, or Gaming Legends, will be offered at launch for $19.88.
Funko merch will move from the toy department to the new collectibles section, with exclusive chrome Thanos POP! Vinyl figues in six colors in the launch assortment.
Other products include McFarlane Toys sports figures and Upside Down Will from Stranger Things, plus four boxes from Culture Fly, featuring Harry Potter, Fallout, Rick& Morty, and PlayStation. These will be sold at the same price as the Loot Crate boxes, $19.88.
