Marvel Comics will release War of the Realms Prelude, a collection of key chapters in Dark Elf Malekith’s strategy to ignite the War of the Realms event (see “Marvel Teases Mega Event 'War of the Realms'”).

War of the Realms launches in April, and Prelude written by Walter Simonson and Jason Aaron gathers the key chapters of Malekith and his dark allies plots to set the stage for war. Gathering material from Thor (1966) #344; Thor: God of Thunder #13 and #17; Mighty Thor (2015) #1-2, #13-14 and #22; Thor: God of Thunder #25, Mighty Thor (2015) #4 and #700, and Mighty Thor: At The Gates Of Valhalla; the volume covers Malekith’s first appearance, his origin and his run-ins with not just one Thor, but two.

The 240-page trade paperback has an MSRP of $34.99. Release is set for March 13.
