The anime adaptation of I Want to Eat Your Pancreas will be released in 400 theaters on two days in February 2019.  Tickets for showings of the film, distributed by Fathom, are now on sale.

The anime is an adaptation of a light novel by Yoru Simino, which tells the story of a girl who’s terminally ill and an unnamed protagonist who discovers her secret.  The novel spawned a live action film adaptation, this anime adaptation, and a manga.

Subtitled showings will be on February 7 and an English dub will be shown on February 10.

The timing of the Fathom theatrical release is good for tie-in sales.  Seven Seas released the light novel this week, and the manga will be released in January (see “Seven Seas Goes on a Spree”).
