In celebration of the 35th anniversary of Ghostbusters, IDW Publishing will release four one-shots on a weekly schedule in April featuring four different teams:  the original "Prime" team, the Real Ghostbusters from the 1980s animated series, the all-female team that "answered the call" from 2016, and Extreme Ghostbusters.


The four one-shots are:

• Ghostbusters 35th Anniversary: Ghostbusters, written by Erik Burnham with art by Dan Schoening
• Ghostbusters 35th Anniversary: Real Ghostbusters, written by Cavan Scott with art by Marcelo Ferreira
• Ghostbusters 35th Anniversary: Answer the Call Ghostbusters, written by Deven Grayson with art by S.L. Gallant
• Ghostbusters 35th Anniversary: Extreme Ghostbusters, written by Jim Bear with art by Tim Lattie

IDW Publishing also revealed that it plans new comics featuring the original "prime" team in the run-up to the 2020 release of the upcoming film sequel set in that universe, due out in 2020 (see "’Ghostbusters’ Teaser Trailer").
