Smith was a manager at Peachstate Hobby Distribution for many years.  He joined the company in 2007.  Smith was also a professional miniatures painter who had created work for Reaper, RAFM, and other miniature manufacturers.

“He was a great friend, husband, father, and co-worker.  He was loved by all the retailers that he served throughout the years,” Sito Sanchez, Peachstate Hobby Distribution President told ICv2 via email.

Smith is survived by his wife Melinda Smith, his son Jared, his niece Tabitha, his brother Edward Smith and his wife Alyse, sister Patty Katula, sister Charlene Pansini and her husband Robert, and many friends and relatives.  A service will be held on Saturday February 2 at Raritan Bay Funeral Service in South Amboy, NJ.  Amy Sanchez has set up a Memorial Fund for Smith’s family on GoFundMe.
