Modiphius Entertainment has revealed three new books for its Star Trek Adventures role playing game: The Sciences Division, which will release on February 19, Alpha Quadrant, coming in July, and Strange New Worlds, scheduled for August.
The Sciences Division is the third Division Supplemental Rulebook for Star Trek Adventures, covering the last of the major branches of Starfleet. The book describes the science and medical departments, as well as rules and advice for using the Q character in the game, new character options, equipment, rules for creating new alien beings, and rules for disease. Stats for well-known scientific characters are also featured, including Carol Marcus, Noonian Soong, and Zefram Cochrane. MSRP is $34.99.
The previous Division book, covering the Operations Division, was released late last year (see “Second ‘Star Trek Adventures’ Division Book Revealed”).
The second Quadrant Sourcebook will be Alpha Quadrant, covering the area of the galaxy occupied by the Cardassian Union, the Ferengi Alliance, and the Maquis, including the Deep Space 9 starbase.
Beta Quadrant, the first Quadrant Sourcebook, released last year (see “Details of New ‘Star Trek Adventures’ Releases Emerge”).
Strange New Worlds will be the second Mission Compendium, with 10 new ready-made missions featuring away missions on dangerous worlds and confronting strange environments. This book is designed so it can act as a follow up to the earlier These Are the Voyages book.
MSRP for Alpha Quadrant and Strange New Worlds have not been announced.
