Retailer Badges for the GAMA Trade Show, coming up in Reno beginning March 11, have sold out, the organization announced last Friday.  "It was a tough decision but based on fire code and current configuration of our show it was one we had to made," GAMA Executive Director John Stacy told ICv2.  "We have already started looking at how to deal with this for our next two years we are contracted at the Peppermill."

Stacy thanked Asmodee North America for its promotion offering pre-registered retailers a free Keyforge deck display with special custom decks exclusive to the show, which he credited for part of the retailer attendance increase, which amounted to a 9% increase in the number of registered stores (to 430 unique stores), and a 30% increase in the number of retailer attendees, to 850.

The problem is that space for key retailer events is maxed out at 850 retailer badges, Stacy explained in a Facebook post.  "We only have seats for 460 individuals at the retailer meals and a cap of 850 individuals in the seminar rooms per hour," he wrote.

Changes to the type and frequency of seminars, to the exhibit hall configuration, hours and location, and to other elements are being considered to allow for increased attendance in the next two years, which are contracted at the Peppermill.  The organization plans to ask members for input on what they value at the show to help in planning changes.

For this year, other badge types are still available.
