North Star Games will release its new family-friendly card game, Dirty Pig as a hobby exclusive June 1.

Dirty Pig is a game where the object is to dirty all of your pigs while preventing opponents from doing the same. Each person starts with a group of clean pigs they can dirty by playing cards. Dirty pigs can be cleaned by other players by playing “rain” or “farmer” cards. Players can protect their pigs by building barns around them.

The box includes 75 cards, 1 rulebook, and a dirty pig pouch. The game is for 2 – 6 players, ages 6 and up, and plays in five to 10 minutes. MSRP is $17.99.

The company also announced more dude, the expansion to its popular dude card game, would be hitting hobby channels in June after an exclusive distribution arrangement with Target (see “North Star Games Releases ‘dude’ Card Game”). A standalone expansion, more dude can be played on its own or combined with dude for a more nuanced game. The game is for 3 – 6 players, ages 13 and up. MSRP was not announced.
