In Bad Bones, players each have a board with a tower that is under attack by skeletons. They can destroy the skeletons by fighting them with a hero or moving them onto their opponents’ boards. All the action happens simultaneously, and the first player to have their tower destroyed loses the game. All remaining players then tally their points to determine a winner.
“What’s interesting about the game,” said Dude Games’s Alex Seliger, “is that, in the box, you will get six play sheets for six players, but you can combine the game to have more than six players play.” Seliger notes the game always takes about half an hour to play, regardless of the number of players, because “everyone executes the phases together simultaneously.”
Bad Bones is for players aged eight and up. It has an MSRP of $70.00.
Gravity Superstars is a grid-movement game where players “fall” through space, attempting to collect stardust on the way down. The goal is to gather the most stardust. The game features a number of colorful pieces and is aimed at players aged eight and up. Gravity Superstars retails for $35.00.
