Warner Bros. has released the first teaser trailer for Joker, and it shows what Joaquin Phoenix is bringing to the role.  This first teaser shows the development of the character and what leads him to become the Joker. The film is due to open October 4 (see “Todd Phillips ‘Joker’ Begins Principal Photography”).
