Dark Horse Comics will launch Manor Black, a new four-part miniseries from Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurtt (The Sixth Gun) with art by Tyler Crook (B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth), on July 31, the company announced. The first issue will feature covers by Tyler Crook and Dan Brereton (Nocturnals).
Manor Black is a gothic horror fantasy about Roman Black and his family of powerful sorcerers. While his children fight over who shall be the new head of the family and represent their black arts, Roman adopts a young mage named Ari. Roman gifts Ari his powers in the hope that they are someone good enough to protect his family and their legacy against the evil forces that would topple them.
Bunn’s Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe had a long run on the BookScan graphic novel bestseller charts last year (see "December 2018 NPD BookScan – Top 20 Superhero Graphic Novels").
