'Batman Who Laughs' issue 7 by Jock - art not final
DC Comics has unveiled the new series for its Year of the Villain summer event, which will flow out of the surprise seventh issue for The Batman Who Laughs. Batman/Superman will launch on August 14.

Scott Snyder and Jock’s The Batman Who Laughs miniseries will now include a seventh issue, featuring the final showdown between Batman and the Jokerized version of himself from the Dark Nights: Metal Dark Multiverse.

That dark Bruce Wayne has been scheming, and his ultimate plan will be brought to light – six heroes from the DCU have been inflected by a deadly pathogen by the Batman Who Laughs, which will turn them into their most evil selves. Now Batman and Superman must team up to find the six heroes, before they join with the most dangerous foe the DCU has faced.

Batman/Superman will be written by Joshua Williamson, and drawn by David Marquez. Main cover for #1 is done by Marquez and Sanchez, with a variant available by Leinil Yu.

More information on the Batman/Superman series will be available in DC’s Year of the Villain #1, releasing on May 1 (see “Three Big Summer Arcs Flow Out of DC's 'Year of the Villain'”).
