Portal Games will release Play Smart this summer.  Originally released in Poland ten years ago, with three print runs, this will be the book’s first English release.

Written by game designer Ignacy Trzewiczek (Imperial Settlers), Play Smart is a guide for navigating the role of game master.  Based on decades as a designer and GM, Trzewiczek walks players through his interactions with players through his own sessions.  Trzewiczek shares the unique methods and personal touches he has for handling many issues GMs encounter within their gaming groups.

Play Smart has an MSRP of $25 and releases in August.

Portal Games will be releasing Trzewiczek’s latest Imperial Settlers game in August as well (see "‘Imperial Settlers: Empires of the North’").
