Terraforming Mars: Turmoil is the fifth expansion for Terraforming Mars. In Turmoil, players seek to control the Terraforming Council, Mars’ governing body. The expansion includes new corporations, new projects, and Global Events, a new card type that range from dust storms to riots. By controlling parties, or being the head of the Terraforming Council, players receive benefits during Global Events. Terraforming Mars: Turmoil includes 5 Corporation Cards, 16 Project Cards, 31 Global Event Cards, 6 Policies, Global Event Board, Terraforming Committee Board, 35 Delegates Tokens (7 in each color), 14 Neutral Delegates, 1 Dominance Marker, 2 Reference Cards, 1 Terraformer Milestone Tile, and Rule Book.
Terraforming Mars: Turmoil is for 1 to 5 players, ages 12 and up, and plays in 120 minutes. The game releases in November with a MSRP of $34.95.
Terraforming Mars: Turmoil was originally launched as Kickstarter early this year, and raised over $1.3 million from 26,004 backers (see "‘Terraforming Mars: Turmoil’ Kickstarter Includes Retailer Partnership").
