Target landed another exclusive for its game section with a licensed product from Big G Creative based on James Corden’s popular segment from The Late, Late Show, The Carpool Karaoke Game. It releases this week.
Nashville-based Big G has produced pop-culture licensed games in the past for properties like painter Bob Ross and Home Alone (see "Licensed Games for ‘The Brady Bunch,’ ‘Bob Ross,’ ‘Home Alone,’ and Breakfast Cereal Characters"), often with an exclusive window for Target followed by release in broader channels.
The Carpool Karaoke Game pits three or more players aged 12+ against each other in karaoke sing-offs reminiscent of the show routine. Participants compete as teams, singing, dancing, and performing celebrity impressions to wow the judges.
The game comes with a dashboard, 20 challenge cards, four share-it tokens, instructions, and a list of the 50-most popular karaoke songs. It plays in about 30 minutes and retails for $19.99.
