Catch Up Games will release Fertility (distributed by Asmodee North America), a new board game set in Ancient Egypt, in September.

Fertility is a resource allocation game where players take on the role of administrators for a Metropolis in Ancient Egypt. They use the resources from the Valley of the Nile to build new parts of the Metropolis and make sure shops are well-supplied. If players make good decisions for their city, they will earn favors from Pharaoh.

The Fertility game box comes with four Valley boards, four Metropolis boards, one starting tile, 50 Valley tiles, 40 District tiles, 80 wooden resources, four Wheat tokens, 16 Monument pawns, one scorepad, and one rulebook.

Fertility is for two to four players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 45 minutes. It will retail for $49.99.

Asmodee was in the news recently because they purchased a North American distributor (see "Asmodee Acquires North American Distributor").
