The co-writers of GLOW vs. The Babyface
IDW Publishing will release GLOW vs. The Babyface, a new 4-part miniseries based on the popular Netflix series GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling), in November.  GLOW vs. The Babyface will be co-written by former WWE superstar AJ Mendez and Aimee Garcia (Lucifer, Dexter), and will feature art by returning artist Hannah Templer (GLOW, Cosmoknights).

The first issue will ship with three different covers by Veronica Fish (Spider-Woman), Nicole Goux (Jem and the Holograms), and Catherine Nodet (The X-Files).

The wrestlers of GLOW must learn the art of cutting a promo to prove to the media that they aren’t a bad influence on children. In the process they discover a runaway living under the ring.  Now L.A.’s least qualified babysitters find themselves with a preteen girl on their hands.

IDW’s GLOW comics are overseen by GLOW showrunners Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch.  IDW launched the first GLOW miniseries in March (see “Netflix’s ‘GLOW’ Comes to Comics”).
