Two more titles are in the works for Paizo Inc.’s Pathfinder Second Edition:  the Gamemastery Guide, scheduled for January, and Bestiary 2, releasing in April.

The Gamemastery Guide is a 256-page hardcover book filled with tips and tools for Pathfinder game masters.  The book features tips for how to create adventures, locations, and characters for the game, as well as rules for special situations like chases, tournaments, and duels.  Game masters can use these variant rules to customize the rules they use in their campaign.  The book also includes new feats, magic items, curses, and artifacts and 40 pages of non-player characters that can be dropped into any campaign.

Pathfinder:  Gamemastery Guide is scheduled for release in January.  MSRP is $49.99.

The Pathfinder Bestiary 2 describes 350 monsters for use with the game, many with full-color illustrations, acting as a companion book to the earlier Pathfinder Bestiary.  This book features a number of creatures from Pathfinder’s first edition, such as the serpentfolk, primal dragons, and the Sandpoint devil, as well as a host of new creatures for the game.  It also has unified rules for special monster abilities such as grab, swallow whole, and regeneration.

The 320-page Bestiary 2 will release in April.  MSRP is $49.99.

This month, Paizo is releasing the Lost Omens Character Guide (see “‘Lost Omens’ for ‘Pathfinder’”).  Pathfinder has found a place on ICv2’s most recent Top 5 list for its category (see “Top 5 Roleplaying Games--Spring 2019”).
