Wizards of the Coast will begin selling Throne of Eldraine Deluxe Collection, a high-end Magic: The Gathering collector's box, exclusively through its online store on October 2. The Deluxe Collection will further increase the marketing volume around the Throne of Eldraine release date, and a quick sell-out could help turbocharge the primary and after-market demand for products that contain Collector Boosters (see "Wizards of the Coast Unveils 'Throne of Eldraine' Product Line"). The limited edition product will be offered for $449.99 plus shipping.

The new Magic: The Gathering Throne of Eldraine Deluxe Collection will come with an array of highly sought-after Magic: The Gathering cards from the new set, and will expand the already growing count of individual card copies of Mythic rares and rares. The Deluxe Collection comes with 16 Throne of Eldraine Collector Boosters, a faux leather set-themed binder, a foil, borderless Garruk, Cursed Huntsman planeswalker card, an art print of the borderless Garruk, Cursed Huntsman, a non-foil version of the Buy-a-Box premium Kenrith, the Returned King card, a 3x3 card strip from a foil sheet of Throne of Eldraine, and an MTG Arena mega-code card which grants digital Mythic rares and rares.

Collector Boosters replace the fixed-foil, borderless, alternate art planeswalker cards found in previous direct-sale sets such as Mythic Editions. This forms a more direct connection between the limited edition, direct-to-consumer Deluxe Edition and Throne of Eldraine retail products such as booster boxes and Holiday Gift Bundles (see "Wizards of the Coast Unveils 'Throne of Eldraine Holiday Gift Bundle'"), which include Collector Boosters in limited quantities. A lightning-fast sell-out of the Deluxe Collection may drive even more consumers to seek out the retail products with the Collector Boosters they missed in the quick sell-out.
