For its annual retailer membership drive, The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund is offering three variants among the premiums for membership this year:

An exclusive, CBLDF member-only hardcover deluxe edition of Superman Smashes the Klan by Gene Luen Yang.  The story is being released first in three 80-page perfect-bound comic issues beginning this month and is planned for a hardcover collection in 2020.  The CBLDF Retailer Member premium is a special hardcover edition available only with retailer memberships.

An exclusive, CBLDF-only variant edition of Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Hellmouth #1.  The five-issue event series launches this month (see "BOOM!’s Buffy and Angel Event Series ‘Hellmouth’").

An exclusive CBLDF-only variant edition of IDW Publishing’s Napoleon Dynamite #1.  The comic series is a sequel to the cult movie hit, taking the story back to Idaho (see "’Napoleon Dynamite’ Comes to Comics").

The premiums are available in varying numbers at retailer membership levels from $100 to $1000, along with other premiums such as a 2019 Membership Card, a CBLDF-branded window cling and donation can, and an assortment of CBLDF publications, including Selling Comics, from CBLDF and Dark Horse Comics.  The $500 and $1000 membership levels include signed copies (one or two) of Superman Smashes the Klan.

The Final Order Cut-Off date with Diamond Comic Distributors for the retailer memberships with the special premiums is October 28.
