Kids graphic novel imprint JY will release three more Svetlana Chmakova Berrybrook graphic novels and a new Chmaokova series, the company announced on Twitter. Chmakova, the creator of Awkward, Brave, Crush, and other middle-grade graphic novel hits, now has a range of upcoming graphic novels in two series.
JY will launch The Weirn Books, a new Chmakova trilogy which reintroduces the world of Nightschool, with a new town and an all-new cast of characters for young readers, in Summer 2020. The new series will feature shifters, vampires, weirns, and other night things passing for human.
The next volume in the Berrybrook series will begin with the letter "E," JY Tweeted, continuing the naming convention of the series so far, with Diary released last month (see "Chmakova Announces ‘Diary’"). The "E" volume will be released in 2021.
