In Raiders of Scythia, players take on the role of one of eight Scythian Heroes, and then head off to plunder settlements. Players assemble a crew of raiders, train their animals, and stockpile provisions to attempt to gain victory points by raiding Settlements for Plunder and completing Quests. This game ends when only two Settlements are left unraided or two Quests remain on the Main Board, and the winner is the crew with the most victory points.

This game box comes with a Main Board, 4 Player Boards, 26 Quests, 136 cards, a Plunder Bag, 80 Plunder tokens, 32 Wounds, 32 Kumis, 32 Provisions, 31 Workers, 6 dice, 4 score markers, 32 Silver, and an illustrated rulebook.
