Wizards of the Coast has warned via Twitter and YouTube that half of its intended quantities of Magic: The Gathering - Commander 2020, which is aligned with Magic: The Gathering – Ikoria: Lair of the Behemoths, have been delayed and will not be available at release. The problem is at the printers, which are not currently shipping due to the Covid-19 coronavirus.
Commander 2020 includes five pre-constructed decks with 71 new cards and a few reprints tied to Ikoria (see “WotC Unveils Four New ‘Commander’ Products for ‘Magic: The Gathering’”). The prerelease/release date for the Ikoria: Lair of the Behemoths range is now May 15 in North America, delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic (see “WotC Pushes Back ‘Ikoria: Lair of the Behemoths’”).
The second half of the initial run will be printed “as soon as those printers are back open,” according to the announcement, with distribution to follow.
