Frosthaven, a new campaign in the Gloomhaven universe, passed Kingdom Death: Monster 1.5, which has been atop the chart for over three years at $12,393,139. The top 10 has been stable for over a year; Tainted Grail hit the chart at #4 in late 2018 (see "’Tainted Grail’ Enters Top 10 Tabletop Game Kickstarter Chart").
Retailer participation was the highest we can remember seeing, with over 600 backers at the retailer level. That makes Kickstarter a very important distribution channel to the trade for this product.
The Frosthaven project started fast, raising over $5.5 million in the first two days (see "’Frosthaven’ Kickstarter Tops $5.5 Million in Second Day"), passed $10 million a few days back, and finished strong.
The original Gloomhaven project that began the universe was funded back in 2015 at $386,104 from 4,904 backers. A Kickstarter for the second printing in April of 2017 raised $3,999.795 (just out of our all-time Top 10) from 40,642 backers.
Zombicide: Black Plague, from what was called CoolMiniOrNot back in 2015 when the project was funded, was bumped off the bottom of the Top 10 by the new entrant.
