Inside Up Games will release Sea Change, an underwater-themed card game, in August, the company announced. With a game engine based on the company's Gorus Maximus, this trick-taking game rewards players who collect positive points and avoid negative points. Players can trigger a "Sea Change," changing the trump suit mid-trick, by matching the number on the last card played.
Each box contains 80 Sea Cards, 8 Scoring Cards, 1 Trump Track Card, 1 Trump Track Token, and English/French rulesheet. Sea Change is for 1 to 8 players 8 and up, and plays in 20-40 minutes.
Plastic packaging has been minimized and 1% of sales will go to organizations working to clean up the ocean, the company said in its announcement.
