IDW Publishing will launch Transformers / Back to the Future, a four-issue comic miniseries written by Cavan Scott with art by Juan Samu, in October.  As the story begins, Marty McFly returns to Hill Valley, where Doc Brown’s time machine attracts the attention of the Decepticons, plunging Marty into action to unravel a Decepticon plot with the help of a new converting time machine, the Autobot called Gigawatt.  The time travel allows the story to touch on Transformers storylines from the 80s, plus elements of all three Back to the Future movies.

The series will feature "A" Cover by Samu, "B" Cover by Phil Murphy, and Retailer Incentive covers by Dan Schoening, and with a photo of the upcoming Autobot Gigawatt toy.
