Dark Horse Comics announced Stranger Things: Halloween Special, a prequel one-shot for Netflix's Stranger Things, for release on October 21.

This book tells the tale of what happening in Hawkins on Halloween prior to Will's infamous vanishing act which led him into the Upside-Down world. Will, Mike, Lucas, and Dustin are happily eating candy and scaring each other with spooky tales in Castles Byers while the Child-Eater of Hawkins lurks in the shadows. This story is penned by Michael Moreci with art by Todor Hristov, coloring by Chris O’Halloran, and lettering Nate Piekos.

Stranger Things: Halloween Special will retail for $3.99.

Dark Horse Comics took home three Eisner awards last week (see "Eisner Awards 2020: Wide Range of Winners ").
