Chicago Toy & Game Group (ChiTAG) is rebranding as People of Play, the company announced, with Founder Mary Couzin continuing to lead the organization. CHITAG was best known for its annual Chicago Toy and Game Fair, which will go virtual this year as ChiTAG Presents People of Play Week, beginning November 16. The awards given at the show will continue this year under their current name, the Toy & Game International Excellence Awards (TAGIES).
ChiTAG acquired toy industry newsletter The Bloom Report in May (see "ChiTAG Takes Over ‘The Bloom Report’").
