Sony announced that it has suspended digital distribution of CD Projekt Red's recently released video game, Cyberpunk 2077.
The rollout troubles continue for CD Projeckt Red's Cyberpunk 2077. After the game's release was pushed off multiple times before finally arriving in December (see "'Cyberpunk 2077' Pushed Off To December"), it has now been officially removed from Sony's Playstation Store for digital download. Additionally, Sony is also offering refunds to anyone who purchased this game from their online store.
The source of Sony's issues with the game is the multiple graphics problems and bugs experienced on the Playstation 4 console version which make it difficult to play. CD Projekt Red had previously acknowledged these issues, and they've apologized for them. The company also released a statement saying that they were working on two large patches that would fix the issue at hand, and that they were looking to get Cyberpunk 2077 back up on the PlayStation Store as soon as possible.
