Sentinels of the Multiverse launched back in 2011 (see "Four Games You May Have Missed"), and since then, has garnered several expansions (see "Three 'Sentinel Comics' World Game Expansions"). This edition will feature brand-new artwork, and a more streamlined rules set. The rules have been stripped down to thier core elements, which allows for faster gameplay than before. The overall look and design of the game has also been polished by the graphic design team of Rae Henderson and Darrell Louder alongside developer Chris Burton. The contents of the game box has also changed to include 12 heroes, 6 villains, 6 environments, and more.
