Ray Fawkes, who recently penned Vampirella vs. Purgatori #1 (see " Vampiresses Duel it Out in Dynamite's 'Vampirella vs. Purgatori' #1"), is headed back to collaborate with Oni-Forge on One Soul: Tenth Anniversary Edition as well as to produce a new book One Line. One Soul was nominated for Best New Graphic Album by the 2012 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards (see "The 2012 Eisner Award Nominees"). One Soul explores the lives of 18 individuals throughout history through the lens of their lives unfolding at the same time.

"When I wrote One Soul ten years ago, it was to give voice to my need for answers in a time of great personal turmoil. I hoped to reach others who felt as I did, and to tell them that they are not alone-that none of us are alone," said Fawkes. "In the time that's passed, I've been overwhelmed by the positive response to the book from readers around the world, by those who were touched or inspired by it."

A few months after the release of the anniversary edition, Oni-Forge will release a new Ray Fawkes' GN, One Line. This book, instead, follows 18 families through four centuries. It shows how traditions, ethics, and prejudices passed down through generations.
