Zenescope Entertainment is launching a new Retailer Livestream program, in which a different comic book shop will be featured, to take place up to twice a month, the company announced.  An array of Zenescope collectible covers and graphic novels from the publisher’s library will be offered, with 50% of sales going to the featured shop.  Orders will be shipped directly from the Zenescope warehouse to the customer, with no cost to the retailer.

The new program grew out of Zenescope’s quick pivot to livestream programs as the Covid pandemic took hold last March.  Zenescope has been holding monthly Virtual Con livestreams on its Facebook Live and YouTube channels, in which viewers can order featured products through the comment section.  The virtual events have evolved to include comic professional interviews, celebrity appearances, giveaways, artist panels, and cosplay contests.

The first three Retailer Livestreams have been scheduled, all at 4 ET:

  • Third Eye Comics in Annapolis, MD on February 23
  • Emerald City Comics, Games & Toys in Clearwater, FL on March 9
  • Comic Empire of Tulsa on March 23

Zenescope asked that retailers interested in the program contact the company.
