Wizards of the Coast dropped product details for their next Magic: The Gathering Standard set, Strixhaven: School of Mages, which will release in April.    

This new Standard set has a seemingly Harry Potter-inspired theme which features five different colleges of magic located at the most prestigious university in the Magic Mulitverse known as Strixhaven. The five colleges are Lorehold (Red/White color-focused), Prismari (Red/Blue color-focused), Quandrix (Green/Blue color-focused), Silverquill (Black/White color-focused), and Witherbloom (Green/Black color-focused). This set will also showcase cards from Magic's past found in Mystical Archive slots of Draft Boosters, Set Boosters, and Collector Boosters. There are 63 cards on the Mystical Archive list for this set.  

Strixhaven: School of Mages has the following products announced for this set, thus far:

Strixhaven: School of Mages Collector Booster Packs and Displays. The Collector Boosters containing premium cards are coming back again for Strixhaven: School of Mages. These packs will have at least three Mystical Archive slots each.

Strixhaven: School of Mages Draft Booster Packs and Displays. Draft booster packs come with 15 cards from the Strixhaven: School of Mages set, which will have one Mystical Archive slot.  

Strixhaven: School of Mages Set Booster Packs and Displays. These 12-card boosters feature a guaranteed foil and art card. They also have a single Mystical Archive slot as well.

Strixhaven: School of Mages Theme Booster Packs and Displays. These packs contain 35 Strixhaven: School of Mages cards that are themed around one of the five schools.

Strixhaven: School of Mages Bundle. This bundle comes with 10 Strixhaven: School of Mages Draft Boosters in an a storage box.

Strixhaven: School of Mages Commander Decks. WotC has slated five Commander decks, one for each school, for this release. These decks come with 81 cards, and they are named as follows: Silverquill Statement, Prismari Performance, Witherbloom Witchcraft, Lorehold Legacies, and Quantum Quandrix.

In addition, WotC will also release Japanese variants of Mystical Archive cards in Japanese Draft, Set, and Collector Boosters. At least one of these variants will be included in every pack of English Collector Boosters.
