AfterShock Comics and Renegade Entertainment revealed Lycan, a comic miniseries based on a story by David James Kelly and Thomas Jane (see "Punisher Film Gears Up"), for release in the first half of 2022.
Jane's Renegade Entertainment has teamed up with AfterShock Comics to produce a six-issue miniseries about a band of big game hunters that get shipwrecked near a small British isle in 1777. There they have to stop a Berserking Beast from eating Lord Ludgate's subjects in order to get their ship repaired. Joe Pruett, Publisher and COO of Aftershock Comics, commented on his new project with Jane:
"Thomas and I have talked about working together for quite a while now, so when the chance came to merge his love and passion for the comic book medium with AfterShock's own, the timing couldn't have been more perfect," said Pruett.
Kelly and Jane's story was adapted to comic book format by Lucifer's Mike Carey (see "DC Hypes 'Lucifer' Comics Omnibus").
