This is the first crossover of D&D into Magic: The Gathering's product lines, as previous crossovers between the two brands had featured Magic: The Gathering characters in D&D books (see "'Dungeons & Dragons' Travels to the 'Magic: The Gathering' Plane of Theros in New Sourcebook") or miniatures (see " WizKids Unleashes 'Magic: The Gathering Unpainted Miniatures'!"). The D&D Adventures in Forgotten Realms product line is as follows:
D&D Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Collector Booster Packs and Displays. The Collector Boosters are earmarked by the Baleful Beholder artwork on the front of the booster packaging. The packs contain premium cards, such as a full-art extended version of Tiamat as a mythic (see Gallery below). These packs come with 15 Magic cards and a foil token. They come 12 boosters to a display and 24 displays come to a case.D&D Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Draft Booster Packs and Displays. Booster packs come with 15 cards from the D&D Adventures in Forgotten Realms set that are optimized for the draft format. They are packaged in displays of 36 packs, and cases come with 6 displays. Additionally, the Buy-a-Box promo card for this set is a Vorpal Sword with alternate art (see Gallery below).
D&D Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Set Booster Packs and Displays. Set Booster packs come with 12 Magic cards, an art card, and a token or special card from Magic's history. Each booster display comes with 30 booster packs, and 6 displays come in a case.D&D Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Theme Booster Packs and Displays. These packs come with 35 Magic: The Gathering cards that are all based on a specific color theme. Each display comes with 12 themed packs, and 6 displays come to a case.
D&D Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Bundle. The Bundle has been changed up a bit for this set. It comes with 10 D&D Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Draft Boosters, 20 foil lands, 20 nonfoil lands, a 20-sided die, a foil Promo card, and 3 oversized Dungeons cards. The Dungeon cards are new and a flavor aspect of this set. These bundles will ship in cases of 6.D&D Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Commander Decks. These decks come with a display Commander cards, 2 foil Legendary cards, 98 additional Magic: The Gathering cards, 10 tokens, and a Life Wheel. Cases of this product come with 4 decks.
D&D Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Prerelease Pack. Prerelease Packs are made for events that run between July 16 and July 22. Packs come with 6 D&D Adventures in Forgotten Realms Draft Booster packs, 3 foil double-sided Dungeon cards, a foil promo-stamped rare or mythic rare from the set, a deck box, and a 20-sided die.
