Funko Games will release Marvel Battleworld: Treachery at Twilight, the second series for its Marvel Battleworld game line.

Marvel Battleworld: Treachery at Twilight allows players to work together as their favorite heroes from all over the Marvel Universe to defeat Thanos. As players progress through each playthrough, they will gain the ability to open “Thanostones” that house a mystery character to aid them in battle. Treachery at Twilight features more than 30 unique characters from all over Battleworld, including rare variants. The new series also introduces vehicles to the game, as well as the new “Loki’s Trick” Battle Cards.

The Marvel Battlworld: Treachery at Twilight Battle Ball features a random Hero and a random Mystery Hero hidden inside a “Thanostone”. The Battle Ball also includes 5 Battle Cards, an Attack Die, 5 Danger Tokens, a Danger Coin, a Promo Card, and an Instructions sheet. Each Marvel Battleworld: Treachery at Twilight Battle Ball will retail for $8.99 and be released in August.

The Marvel Battleworld: Treachery at Twilight Mega Pack features four starter heroes, including an exclusive Captain Marvel (Marvel 2099 variant), along with 2 “Thanostones”. Each Mega Pack also includes 13 Battle Cards, dice, and tokens needed to play. The Marvel Battleworld: Treachery at Twilight Mega Pack will retail for $19.99 and be released June 20.

The Marvel Battleworld: Treachery at Twilight Premium Pieces Pack allows players to create their own mystery with 3 reusable, plastic “Thanostones”. The Premium Pieces Pack also includes an exclusive Groot (Spider Island variant), 13 plastic Danger Tokens, and a holofoil Danger Coin. The Marvel Battleworld: Treachery at Twilight Premium Pieces Pack will retail for $7.99 and be released June 20.

The Marvel Battleworld: Treachery at Twilight Storage Case allows players to easily organize and transport their Marvel Battleworld game and components. The case stores more than 50 Heroes and their respective Hero Cards. The removable upper tray covers a larger storage space for bigger components, as well as “Thanostones”. The case also includes an exclusive Pork Grind Hero. Each Marvel Battleworld: Treachery at Twilight Storage Case will retail for $24.99 and be released June 20.

The Marvel Battleworld: Treachery at Twilight Talon Fighter introduces the first vehicle to Marvel Battleworld and includes an exclusive Black Panther (Marvel 2099 variant). Players will spin the Talon Fighter’s dial to gain extra power and release tokens to determine their fate. The Marvel Battleworld: Treachery at Twilight Talon Fighter will retail for $14.99 and be released June 20.

The Marvel Battleworld: Treachery at Twilight The Collector’s Tower features an exclusive Collector character, as well as the Twilight Die to give characters a powerful attack. Players will use the Twilight Sword stand to determine which character can use the enhanced attacks of the Twilight Die. The Collector’s Tower doubles as a dice tower for players to use during gameplay. The Marvel Battleworld: Treachery at Twilight The Collector’s Tower will retail for $14.99 and be released June 20.

Marvel Battleworld: Treachery at Twilight is for 1 to 4 players, ages 6 and up, and plays in 30 minutes.

Funko recently announced Marvel Battleworld: Treachery at Twilight as one of over 40 games planned for 2021 (see “Funko Plans Over 40 Games for the Rest of 2021”).
