The publication and reprint status of Dead Men Tell No Tales has been in limbo since the passing of Minion Games' owner James Mathe (see "Rolling for Initiative--RIP Bill S. Jaffe and James Mathe "). Renegade has a long-standing relationship with Kane Klenko, the designer of the game and acquired the license. Now, this game will be returning to store shelves as a new printing with a few twists. The core game now features seven new miniatures that will replace the wooden meeples in the original edition. This edition will retail for $50.00.
Additionally, Renegade will sell the existing expansions, the Kraken Expansion and the Miniatures Expansion, for the original printing. These expansions will each retail for $30.00. They will also publish a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle featuring the Dead Men Tell No Tales box art, which will retail for $20.00.
