Modiphius Entertainment will release Conan the Wanderer, a new sourcebook for Conan: Adventures in an Age Undreamed Of, in the coming weeks.
In Conan the Wanderer, players will set out and explore the vast kingdoms of the East, a land Conan has barely begun to explore in his travels. From the rocky hills of Afghulistan to the steaming jungles of Khitai or the opulent palaces of old Vendhya, the rich and varied array of countries in the East can be found nowhere else in the Hyborian world. Beyond the land’s beauty lurks a strange and terrible magic, where the denizen of Yag are worshipped as gods.
The 120-page source book contains all the content players will need to explore the new lands. Players can discover new homelands, castes, talents, backgrounds and stories, and gear for their wanderers. Along with statistics for Conan the Wanderer, players will have access to new character archetypes, including Beggar, Court Official, Emissary, Horse Nomad, Mystic, and Vagabond. The book includes a gazetteer covering many of the kingdoms of the East, including Ghulstan, Hyrkania, Iranistan, Kosala, Vendhya, and Khitai. Players will set off to discover the secrets of Mount Yimisha, home of the dreaded Black Circle. Conan the Wanderer will feature art and maps produced by many new and renowned Conan the Barbarian artists.
Players will need a copy of the Conan: Adventures in an Age Undreamed Of Core Book to play. Conan the Wanderer will retail for $36.00.
Modiphius Entertainment previously announced two new Conan books for release in Q3 2021 (see "Modiphius Announces Two ‘Conan’ RPG Books").
