Jeff Lemire will write and Dustin Nguyen will contribute art and cover for Robin & Batman, a three-issue prestige series launching in November.  The story will explore the beginning of Dick Grayson’s career as Batman’s sidekick, as he struggles to find his path from personal tragedy to superhero.

Lemire and Nguyen have collaborated extensively, producing 50 issues combined of their creator-owned titles Descender and Ascender at Image Comics.  In addition to writing Robin & Batman, Lemire will contribute a variant cover for the first issue; Rafael Albuquerque will provide a 1:25 variant cover.

The 40-page first issue will street on November 9 at $5.99.
