This new line of D&D-licensed paint products is a result of WizKids' expanded licensing agreement with Wizards of the Coast (see "'D&D'-Branded Paint Line"). It features 60 individual paints and varnishes developed by Acrylicos Vallejo, 20 of which are entirely new colors specific to the line. The Wave 1 offering includes the following paints:

There are also two paint case products in this line: the Basic Starter Case and the Intermediate Case. The Basic Starter Case comes with 30 base paints from the Wave 1 line and two brushes for $99.99. The Intermediate Case focuses on the accent colors and varnishes, and also comes with 30 paints and two brushes for $99.99.
For retailers, there are a few interesting entry points with bulk product offerings. WizKids is offering a Wave 1: Quick-Pick, similar to how they solicit their D&D miniatures (see "WizKids Unveils 'Quick-Pick' Units for Retailers"). The Quick-Pick comes with one of each bottle plus reorder cards for $149.40. They also have solicited a paint rack display as an empty version for $235.00 or a fully-loaded version for $1,195.00. The fully-loaded version comes with the rack and eight Quick-Picks worth of paints.
